Legendary showjumper, Geoff Billington and International event rider Oliver Townend will be travelling the length and breadth of the country this December in their Edge Of Glory Tour. The tour promises to educate and amaze crowds as they combine their talent, knowledge and humour in a fabulous show.
Geoff Billington has represented Great Britain twice in the Olympics in the showjumping team as well as winning the DFS Hickstead Derby in 2007. His enthusiasm and competitive spirit make him a crowd favourite. Oliver has also had a very successful career winning both Badminton and Burghley in 2009. Oliver continues to do exceptionally well both internationally and on home soil and is working hard to bring on youngstock from the Harthill Stud.
The Billington - Townend tours are now a famous night out for all the family and sprinkled with a touch of Christmas magic this one aims to be the best yet!! Each performance will combine educational demonstrations, from schooling your young horse right through to breathtaking displays of Oliver and Geoff’s top International horses. The boys have some new tricks up their sleeves for 2012, along with 2 new surprise equine guests who will be making their stage debut!!
The hilarious banter, entertainment and fun makes The Edge of Glory Tour suitable for your non-horsey partner as the comedy duo will ensure that there really is something for everyone!
Geoff and Oliver will also ride some of the impressive Harthill Stud stallions and progeny during the show. Oliver and Nina Barbour set up Harthill Stud in 2009 with the primary objective of producing top class event horses for both national and international markets.
